Evaluation of Courses of Czech as a second language in Center for foreigners JMK

Anotácia:

Diplomová práce si klade za cíl zhodnotit působení kurzů češtiny jako cizího jazyka v organizaci Centrum pro cizince JMK. V teoretické části je popsána teorie testování a tvorba testů včetně testových úloh. Praktic-ká část je věnována analýze výsledků testů u slovanských studentů kur-zu A1 a studentů čtyř kurzů na úrovni B1. Ve výsledcích je sledováno, v jakých jazykových oblastech došlo k pokroku a poté je na základě po-rovnání výstupů jednotlivých úrovní posouzena prospěšnost a úspěš-nost kurzů.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of Czech as a foreign language courses in the Center for Foreigners organisation JMK. Theory of testing and composing of tests including test assign-ments is described in the theoretical part. The practical part is dedicat-ed to test results analysis of slavic students in/of course A1 and stu-dents in/of four courses at B1 level. The results are mainly looking at the language areas where there has been progress and afterwards, based on the comparison of the outputs of the individual levels, the val-ue and success of the courses is assessed.
