Control of Water Level in a Remote Reservoir

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tvorbou mikropočítačového systému sloužícímu k regulaci výšky hladiny odlehlého rezervoáru. Data potřebná pro regulaci jsou získávána z monitorovacího systému, jenž je součástí odlehlého rezervoáru, a jsou získávána z www stránky. Cílem je tento systém navrhnout, vytvořit řídící program a následně otestovat v reálné aplikaci. Teoretická část se zabývá způsoby regulace výšky hladiny a na specifika systému dodávky vody s gravitační nádrží. Obsahuje také popis mikropočítačových systémů vhodných pro použití jako regulátor výšky hladiny. V praktické části je popsán návrh mikropočítačového systému a jeho součástí s následným popisem řídícího programu pro regulaci. Na závěr je systém otestován v reálné aplikaci.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis is about creating microcontroller system for controlling a water level in remote reservoir. Required data for regulation system are achieved through the website, that is responsible for monitoring water level of remote reservoir, and it is part of the existing system. The aim of the work is to design system mentioned above and test it in a real-world scenario. Theoretical part is about water level controlling methods and specifics of water supply system with a gravity tank. Practical part presents design, function of controlling system and description of control program. At last, controlling system is tested in real-world scenario to see how well it works.
