Road traffic accidents analysis in the Pardubice region by means of selected tools of graph theory

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je analýza nehodovosti v regionu Pardubice pomocí vybraných nástrojů teorie grafů. První dvě části práce jsou zaměřeny teoreticky, nejprve je vysvětlen pojem doprava, historie a dělení dopravy, její základní právní úprava, dopravní nehoda a její povinné znaky, sledování nehodovosti v České republice a její evidence, poté je stejným způsobem čtenář uveden do oblasti teorie grafů, její historie, základních pojmů, síťových analýz a jejich využití v praxi. V poslední třetí části jsou pomocí síťové analýzy hledány skryté souvislosti mezi vybranými statistickými ukazateli, popis jejich četnosti, vysvětlení příčinné souvislosti mezi nimi a zamyšlení nad využitelností zjištěných skutečností. V závěru nalezneme vyhodnocení celé práce ve vztahu k předem vytyčeným cílům

Abstract:

The theme of the Bachelor´s thesis is an analysis of accidents in the Pardubice region by means of selected tools of graph theory. The first two parts of works focus theory, at first, the concept of transportation, history and transport division, its basic legislation, traffic accident, its mandatory attributes, and monitoring and records of accidents in the Czech Republic are explained, thereafter is the reader, in the same way, introduced into the area of graph theory, its history, basic concept, network analysis and their application in practice. In the last, third part, network analysis are used to find hidden connections between selected statistical indicators, description of their frequency, explanation of the causal link between them, and consideration of usefulness of the findings. In conclusion, we find the evaluation of the whole work in relation to pre-set targets.
