Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce má za cíl zjistit, jak pojišťovny postupují při řízení rizik, jaké nástroje používají a jak do celého procesu zapojují služby interního auditu, v případě nemožnosti splnění tohoto posledního dílčího cíle nastupuje vyhotovení vlastního návrhu zapojení interního auditu do řízení rizik. Nástroje, použité k plnění cílů jsou analýza a srovnání. Práce je rozdělena na čtyři základní kapitoly, z nichž každá má samostatné ústřední téma. V první kapitole je rozebrána problematika auditu a jeho členění do interního a externího auditu, jejich vzájemný vztah a právní rámec, který ho vymezuje. Druhá kapitola rozebírá rizika v pojišťovnictví, metody analýzy rizik a metody snižování rizik. V této kapitole je též vymezen risk management, jako součást moderního řízení podniku a jeho vztah k internímu auditu. Následuje část třetí, která se věnuje řízení podnikatelských rizik pojišťoven v praxi a zhodnocení nezávislosti postavení interního auditu ve třech vybraných pojišťovacích společnostech s největším podílem na trhu České republiky. Čtvrtá kapitola se zabývá návrhem řešení zapojení interního auditu do řízení podnikatelských rizik pojišťoven. Závěrem jsou shrnuty zjištěné poznatky a vyvozeny konkrétní závěry.

Abstract:

The main goal of my dissertation is to find how the insurance company process in Risk Management. The diploma thesis involves process of internal audit services, tools which are, in Risk Management used and the own suggested draft of internal audit process included to Risk Management. The tools which fulfill the goals of the work are method of analysis and method of comparison. The work is divided into four chapters. The each chapter has a separate theme. The first chapter is focused on a general problematic of external and internal audit, their relationship and legal framework that defines it. The second chapter describes the risk in insurance, the risk analysis methods and methods of the risk reduction. This chapter also defines the Risk Management as a tool for management of the business unit and its relation to the internal audit. The following chapter is focused on Enterprise Risk Management of insurance company and evaluation. The other part of chapter three included description of internal audit independence in three insurance companies with the largest market share in the Czech Republic. The last fourth chapter deals with the draft of solution how to include the internal audit to Insurance Enterprise Risk Management. The conclusion of the dissertation includes the new findings and specific results.
