Lokalizačné služby sú bežnou súčasťou súčasných mobilných aplikácií. Typicky sa používajú na získanie polohy užívateľa alebo navigovanie ku konkrétnemu miestu. Existuje avšak ďalšie využitie GPS, ktoré doteraz nenaplnilo svoj potenciál. Location services are a common part of contemporary mobile applications. They are typically used to retrieve the coordinates of the user or navigate to a particular location.
