Analysis of financial statements and their structure and their predicative ability in the chosen company.

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem mé bakalářské práce je zhodnocení finanční situace konkrétního podniku. Pro zhodnocení jsem si zvolila společnost Zemědělská akciová společnost Lípa. Jedná se o menší zemědělskou společnost na Vysočině, která se hlavně zabývá zemědělskou činností. V bakalářské práci se zabývám finanční situací a hospodařením společnosti v letech 2011 až 2015. Finanční situaci určuji za pomoci finanční analýzy. Konkrétně jde o absolutní a poměrové ukazatele. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. První část obsahuje teoreticko-metodickou část. V této části se věnuji popisu účetních výkazů a popisem finanční analýzy. Druhá část obsahuje aplikační část. V této části je představena společnost. Dále je zde zpracována finanční analýza společnosti s pomocí výkazů, které jsou k dispozici. Na závěr své bakalářské práce zhodnotím výsledky finanční analýzy a navrhnu opatření pro zlepšení hospodaření společnosti.

Abstract:

The main topic of my bachelor thesis is an assessment of financial situation of a specific company. For this purpose, I chose the following company: Zemědělská akciová společnost Lípa. This company is an agriculture firm of a smaller scale, situated in Vysočina region and it deals especially with agriculture activities. My bachelor thesis investigates company’s financial situation and its economy in a time frame from 2011 to 2015. I used a financial analysis to define the financial situation of the company. Specifically, absolute and ratio indicators were used. My thesis consists of two parts. The first part includes theoretical and methodological part. In this part of my thesis, a description of accounting reports and financial analysis can be found. The second part includes an application part. This part introduces the company itself. Further, company’s financial analysis was created with the help of the reports, which are available. In the conclusion of my thesis, the results of the financial analysis are assessed and measures to improve the management of the company are suggested.
