Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na zhodnocení rozdílů ve využití trpného rodu v obchodní angličtině. Cílem práce je dokázat, zda existují rozdíly ve využití trpného rodu s ohledem na dvě vybraná kritéria – zaprvé, zda je využití pasiva ovlivněno původem vybraného podniku, a zadruhé, zda je ovlivněno odvětvím, ve kterém podnik působí.
