Abstract:

Práce se zaměřuje na pěstounství na přechodnou dobu. Popisuje historický vývoj pěstounství, hodnotový systém pěstounů, jejich etické principy, práva a povinnosti. Ukazuje povinnou přípravu na pěstounskou péči, dále pak popisuje problematiku dítěte v nové rodině, průběh péče a princip jeho předání do nové nebo původní rodiny. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jak pěstouni vnímají pěstounskou péči na přechodnou dobu, co jim pěstounství přineslo a co jim naopak sebralo. Účastníci průzkumu byla cíleně vybraná, skupina profesionálních pěstounů. Výsledky naší práce ukázaly, že pěstouni vnímají svoji úlohu v přechodném pěstounství převážně pozitivně, jejich motivace jsou spojené s altruismem a touhou pomoci dětem v nouzi. Pěstounství jim přináší hluboké uspokojení a naplnění nejen přes pozitivní vliv na děti. Mezi jejich největší obavy patří strach z návratu dítěte do biologické rodiny, nejistota ohledně spolupráce s úřady a soudy a starost o zdraví dítěte. Příprava od státu na roli pěstouna je vnímána většinou pěstounů jako dostačující, zlepšení vnímají zejména v oblasti podpory po zahájení pěstounství.

Abstract:

The work focuses on temporary fostering. It describes the historical development of foster care, the value system of foster parents, their ethical principles, rights and obligations. It shows the mandatory preparation for foster care, then describes the issue of the child in the new family, the course of care and the principle of handing it over to the new or original family. The aim of the work was to find out how foster parents perceive temporary foster care, what foster care brought them and what it took away from them. The survey participants were purposefully selected, a group of professional foster parents. The results of our work showed that foster parents perceive their role in transitional fostering mostly positively, their motivations are linked to altruism and the desire to help children in need. Fostering brings them deep satisfaction and fulfillment not only through the positive influence on the children. Among their biggest concerns are the fear of the child's return to the biological family, uncertainty about cooperation with the authorities and courts, and concern for the child's health. Preparation by the state for the role of foster carer is perceived by most foster carers as sufficient, they perceive improvement especially in the area of support after the start of foster care.
