The development of criminality and delinquency among high school students

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce „Vývoj kriminality a delikventního chování u studentů středních škol“ je zhodnocení současného stavu a vývoje kriminality a delikvence. Cílem teoretické části práce je podat ucelený přehled o delikvenci a kriminalitě se zaměřením na děti a mládež a její vývoj v letech 2011–2021. Přehled je zpracován pomocí literární rešerše odborné literatury a analýzy statistik Policie České republiky. Obraz o skutečnosti, jakým směrem se kriminalita mládeže vyvíjí je jed-ním z faktorů, jak stanovovat vhodná opatření, která budou růst kriminality eliminovat. Cílem praktické části práce bylo zjistit, jaké povědomí mají studenti středních škol o kriminalitě a delikvenci, jestli se s tímto chováním již někdy setkali a zda na školách probíhá prevence. Pomocí 3 dílčích průzkumných otázek byly v dotazníkovém šetření hledány odpovědi, které byly následně vyhodnoceny a graficky znázorněny. Pro zmapování aktuální situace v rámci středních škol byla zvolena metoda kvantitativního šetření pomocí online dotazníku.

Abstract:

The subject of the bachelor thesis "The development of crime and delinquent behaviour among high school students" is an evaluation of the current state and development of crime and delinquency. The goal of the theoretical part of the the-sis is to provide a comprehensive overview of delinquency and crime with a focus on children and youth and its development in the years 2011-2021. The overview is prepared by means of a literature search and analysis of statistics from the Police of the Czech Republic. An image of reality in which youth crime is developing is one of the factors in determining appropriate measures to eliminate the growth of crime. The aim of the practical part of the thesis was to find out what awareness high school students have of crime and delinquency, whether they have ever encountered this behaviour and whether prevention is carried out in schools. Using 3 sub-survey questions, the questionnaire survey sought responses, which were subsequently evaluated and graphically illustrated. To map the current situation within high schools, a quantitative survey method was chosen using an online questionnaire.
