Lifestyle of Physical Education Teachers at the 2nd Grade Elementary School in the Ústí nad Labem region .

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje problematice životního stylu učitelů tělesné výchovy na druhém stupni základní školy. V úvodu teoretické části naší práce se věnujeme kvalitě života, respektive kvalitě zdraví. Vymezujeme úlohu životního stylu v ovlivňování zdraví jedince. V další části rozdělujeme pozitivní i negativní faktory, které ovlivňují životní styl, které pak následně detailněji rozebíráme. Závěr teoretické části patří pojmu učitel, jeho profesním a osobnostním kompetencím, dál vlivu jeho osobnostního chování na dodržování zdravého životního stylu žáků druhého stupně základní školy a syndromu vyhoření pedagogů. Praktická část práce se zabývá interpretací konkrétních výsledků šetření a vztahy s dalšími faktory výchovně vzdělávacího procesu. Zabýváme se vnímáním a následným dodržováním vybraných atributů zdravého životního stylu mezi učiteli tělesné výchovy a souvislostmi mezi tímto dodržováním a osobnostními kritérii dotazované skupiny. Šetření bylo provedeno na základních školách v Ústeckém kraji na vzorku 112 učitelů.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with issues of a lifestyle of PE teachers at lower secondary schools. Introduction of the theoretical part is focused on the quality of life or rather the quality of health. We define the role of the lifestyle in influencing the individual´s life. In the following part we divide positive and negative factors that influence the lifestyle and subsequently we analyse them in detail. Conclusion of the theoretical part pays attention to the term teacher(s), to their professional and personality competences, as well as to the influence of their behaviour on the lower secondary school students´ adherence to a healthy lifestyle and to the teacher burnout syndrome. The practical part deals with interpretation of factual results of the survey and with the references to other factors of the educational process. We follow up perception and consequent adherence to selected attributes of the healthy lifestyle among the PE teachers and links between this adherence and personality criteria of the examined group. This survey has been done at primary schools in the region Ústí nad Labem and included 112 teachers.
