Cartography presentation of cultural heritage

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá zpracováním dat týkajících se kulturních památek České republiky a tvorbou mapových výstupů s použitím těchto dat. Je vycházeno z Ústředního seznamu památek, který zpracoval a spravuje Národní památkový ústav. V první části diplomové práce jsou objasněny termíny týkající se kulturních památek a jsou zde uvedeny používané klasifikace památek. Je zde navržena klasifikace vlastní. Dále jsou zmíněny kartografické metody a různé způsoby kartografické prezentace kulturního dědictví. Ve druhé části diplomové práce je popsán postup zpracování dat a návrh vlastní symboliky pro prezentaci kulturního dědictví. V poslední části jsou uvedeny a popsány konkrétní mapové výstupy.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with processing of data relating to cultural monuments of the Czech Republic and creation of the map outputs with using these data. It is resulted from Ústřední seznam památek (Central List of Monuments) which has been processed and it is administered by Národní památkový ústav (National Monumental Institution). In the first part of the thesis there are clarified the terms relating to cultural monuments and there are introduced used classifications of the monuments. Also there is proposed own classification. Furthermore, there are mentioned the cartographic methods and various presentations of the cultural heritage. In the second part of the thesis there is described the procedure of data processing and proposal of the symbology for cultural heritage presentation. In the last part there are introduced and described the concrete map outputs.
