The efficiency of the educational interventions in people with Alzheimer's disease.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá efektivitou edukačních intervencí pomocí ICT u osob s Alzheimerovou chorobou. V rámci výzkumné části práce byl realizován pedagogický experiment na dvou skupinách probandů s Alzheimerovou chorobou, přičemž každá skupina čítala 15 členů. Tyto dvě skupiny se dále diferencovaly podle míry demence na lehkou, střední a těžkou. Na začátku výzkumu byla v obou skupinách provedena vstupní diagnostika pomocí standardizovaných testů. Dále byla v experimentální skupině realizovaná edukační intervence pomocí ICT. V kontrolní skupině probíhala pouze běžná standardní péče o klienty. Po půlroční intervenci následovala v obou skupinách výstupní diagnostika. Statistická komparace rozdílů mezi výsledky výstupní a vstupní diagnostiky v obou skupinách jasně prokázala pozitivní vliv edukační intervence pomocí ICT v oblasti kognitivních a psychomotorických funkcí, depresivity a emocionality u osob se všemi formami Alzheimerovy choroby.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the effectiveness of educational interventions using ICT for persons with Alzheimer's disease. As a part of the research work was carried out pedagogical experiment on two groups of subjects with Alzheimer's disease, each group consisted of 15 members. These two groups are further differentiated by the degree of dementia on light, medium and heavy. At the beginning of the research was made diagnostics of input using standardized tests in both groups. Furthermore, in the experimental group implemented educational intervention using ICT. In the control group ran only the normal standard of care for clients. After a six-month intervention was followed in both groups' output diagnostics. Statistical comparison of the differences between the results of input and output diagnostics in both groups clearly demonstrated the positive impact of educational interventions using ICT in the field of cognitive and psychomotor functions depressionality and emotionality in persons with all forms of Alzheimer's disease.
