Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou Public relations se zaměřením na využívání jejich nástrojů pro ovlivňování široké a místní veřejnosti. V teoretické části práce je nejprve na základě rešerše odborné literatury definován pojem Public relations a následně jsou vymezeny jejich cíle i cílové skupiny. Teoretická část práce je završena výčtem nástrojů a médií externích PR, které jsou literaturou doporučovány jako nejúčinnější prostředky při cílení vůči široké a místní veřejnosti. Praktická část práce prezentuje výsledky primárního kvantitativního výzkumu, jehož cílem bylo zjistit skutečnou míru využívání literaturou doporučovaných nástrojů PR v oslovených podnicích chemického průmyslu a následně určit, jak manažeři těchto podniků vnímají vliv daných nástrojů na vytvoření či změnu názoru široké a místní veřejnosti na chemický podnik. Výsledky výzkumu jsou statisticky zpracovány. V závěru práce je provedena analýza rozdílů ve využívání PR nástrojů a také ve vnímaní míry vlivu těchto názorů na veřejnost dle různých charakteristik zkoumaných podniků i respondentů.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of Public Relations with a focus on the use of their tools to influence the general and local public. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the term Public relations is first defined as per academic literature and then their goals and target groups are defined. The theoretical part of the work concludes with a list of tools and media of external PR, which are recommended by the literature as the most effective means of targeting the general and local public. The practical part of the thesis presents the results of primary quantitative research, which aimed to determine the actual use of literature-recommended PR tools in the addressed chemical companies and then determine how managers of these companies perceive the impact of these tools to create or change the general and local public opinion of the chemical company. The research results are statistically processed. Finally, the thesis contains an analysis of the differences in the use of PR tools and also in the perception of the degree of influence of these views on the public according to various characteristics of the surveyed companies and respondents.
