Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá pojištěním občanských rizik. První část je zaměřená na historii pojišťovnictví a na vývoj pojištění na území České republiky až do současnosti. Dále rozebírá základní dělení a pojmy pojištění, obsah pojistné smlouvy a průběh pojištění.
