Ethical problems in tourism regarding the client culture differences and the possibilities of avoiding them

Anotácia:

Bakalářská práce zkoumá etické problémy v cestovním ruchu související s kulturními odlišnostmi japonských turistů a možnosti jejich předcházení. Hlavním cílem je zjistit rozdíly v mentalitě a kultuře japonských turistů přijíždějících do naší země a poukázat na tyto rozdíly a pokusit se navrhnout řešení při střetu těchto odlišností. Práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí. V první části se věnuji objasnění základních teoretických pojmů, jako je kultura, její vývoj a struktura, multikulturalismus, interkulturalismus, etika, etiketa a jejich vymezení. Druhá část se zabývá japonskou kulturou, zvyky, historií a tradicemi. Dále analyzuji vzájemné česko- japonské vztahy a jejich historii, příjezdový cestovní ruch do České republiky pro kulturně odlišné turisty, v tomto případě pro japonskou klientelu. V návrhové části předkládám vlastní řešení problematiky spojené s kulturními odlišnostmi turistů na území České republiky v oblasti cestovního ruchu.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis explores the ethical problems in turism regarding the culture differences of clients and the possibilities of avoiding them. The main goal is to find out and remit the distinctions in mentality and culture of japaneese tourist coming to our country and suggest a solution to these difference conflicts. This thesis is divided into three main parts. In the first chapter I concentrate on claryfing the basic theoretical terms such as culture, its development and structure, multiculturalism, interculturalism, ethic, etiquette and their delimitation. The second part focuses on Japanese culture, habits, history and traditions. Furthermore I analyze mutual Czech - Japanese relationships and their history, incoming tourism in the Czech Republic for culturally different tourists, in this case for Japanese clients. In the conceptual part I submit my own solution to these issues connected to cultural distinctions of tourists in the Czech Republic in the tourism area.
