Gifted Pupils and Teaching Methods at primary Schools at Prague

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem „Metody práce s nadanými a mimořádně nadanými žáky na 1. stupni ZŠ v Praze". V teoretické části jsou vymezeny základní pojmy dané problematiky. Definují se zde pojmy nadání, talent, identifikace nadaných, metody a formy práce s nadanými aj. V praktické části práce se zaměřuji na využívání specifických výukových metod v práci s nadanými žáky v běžné třídě ZŠ. Zajímá mě také, jakou formou jsou jim nabízeny tzv. úkoly navíc. Na několika pražských školách jsem vedla rozhovory s učiteli a jejich nadanými žáky.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the topic of “Methods of work with gifted and exceptionally gifted pupils at the first stage of primary school in Prague”. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of basic concepts such as aptitude, talent, identification of the gifted, methods and forms of work with gifted pupils, etc. The practical part of the thesis concerns the usage of specific teaching methods in work with gifted pupils in an ordinary class of primary school. The thesis includes interviews which were conducted with teachers and their pupils at several Prague schools. The form of setting extra tasks was dealt with in this thesis as well.
