Arbuskulární mykorhizní houby jsou všeobecně rozšířené organismy žijící v symbióze s kořeny rostlin. Jsou to obligátně biotrofní organismy, které i při kultivaci in vitro vyžadují přítomnost kořenů hostitelské rostliny. Abstract:
Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi are widespread organisms living in the intimate symbiosis with plant roots. They are obligate symbionts, requiring the presence of host plant roots even if cultivated in vitro.
