Abstract:
Předmětem této diplomové práce je styl v literárním překladu. Cílem je identifikovat a definovat překladatelský styl předního českého překladatele Jaroslava Kořána. Práce zkoumá různé teoretické přístupy ke studiu stylu a snaží se některé aplikovat v analýze tří Kořánových překladů - Spolčení hlupců, Karlíka a továrny na čokoládu a Sirén z Titanu.
Abstract:
This diploma thesis focuses on the concept of style in literary translation. It attempts to identify and describe the individual style of the well-known Czech literary translator Jaroslav Kořán. It searches translation theory for suitable approaches to the study of style and applies some of them in the analysis of three Kořán’s translations - Spolčení hlupců (A Confederacy of Dunces), Karlík a továrna …more
