Abstract: This bachelor memory consists of four parts. The first part regards romans of Milan Kundera. The second part deals with composition and characters in "La lenteur". The third part is related to the problems of translation in "La lenteur". The fourth part deals with the translation of 10 chapters of the book "La lenteur" by Milan Kundera from French to Czech.
