Electronic Banking - Case Study

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma «Elektronické bankovnictví – případová studie» je zaměřena na problematiku využití e-bankingu jako alternativy klasickému bankovnictví. V teoretické části jsou objasněny pojmy z oblasti e-bankingu a legislativní základna jeho regulace. Dále jsou v práci syntezovány poznatky o současném stavu a trendech online bankingu v Evropě a České republice. Literárně rešeršní část se zabývá teoretickými poznatky z oblasti komunikačních kanálů elektronického bankovnictví. Jsou zde také sumarizovány publikované zahraniční a české teoretické nálezy týkající se problémy bezpečnosti a rizik elektronického platebního styku. V rámci praktické části je daná charakteristika produktům přímého bankovnictví vybraných bank a provedena komparativní analýza jejich jednotlivých služeb. Empirická část zachycuje výzkum, založený na kvalitativním přístupu s využitím případové studie. Cílem jeho realizaci bylo popsat realitu – motivy a zkušenosti jednotlivce s používáním elektronického bankovnictví.

Abstract:

This thesis «Electronic banking - case study» is focused on the use of e-banking as an alternative to conventional banking. The theoretical part explains the concepts related to the sphere of e-banking and legislative base of its regulation. Furthermore, this work synthesized knowledge about the current state and trends of online banking in the Europe and in the Czech Republic. Literature search section deals with the theoretical knowledge in the field of electronic banking channels. Additionally, published foreign and Czech empirical findings are summarized in relation to the safety problems and risks of electronic payments. The practical part defines the direct banking products characteristic of selected banks and performs comparative analysis of their individual services. In the empirical section there is a study based on a qualitative approach with the use of case study. The goal is to describe the reality - the motives and experiences of individuals with the use of electronic banking.
