Spatial organisation of printing in Ostrava

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se bude zabývat změnami v rozmístění tiskáren v Ostravě mezi obdobím od roku 1873 až 1945 a současností s vazbou na fyzickou a funkční strukturu. Práce bude rozdělena do čtyř kapitol, přičemž první kapitolu bude tvořit teoretická část, druhou kapitolu metodologie a zdroje dat, třetí kapitola bude tvořena empirickou částí a poslední bude obsahovat závěrečné zhodnocení. V teoretické části se budu zabývat kreativními odvětvími s důrazem na obtížnější definici a lokalizaci na úrovni intra-urbánní i inter-urbánní. Podrobněji zde budou také rozebrány aglomerační výhody ovlivňující lokalizaci. Dalším tématem bude tisk, u kterého se zaměřím na rozmístění na intra-urbánní úrovni. V rámci empirické části se budu zabývat změnami v rozmístění tiskáren působících v Ostravě mezi lety 1873 až 1945 a současných tiskáren. Adresy bývalých tiskáren získám z archiválii v Archivu města Ostravy a adresy současných tiskáren z registru ekonomických subjektů. U bývalých tiskáren se zaměřím na fyzický stav a typ budovy, charakter okolí, a také na současnou funkci. U současných tiskáren se budu zabývat, podobně jako u těch bývalých, fyzickým stavem, typem budovy a charakterem okolí. Následně získané informace zhodnotím.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis will deal with changes in the location of printers in Ostrava between 1873 and 1945 and the present in relation to the physical and functional structure. The work will be divided into four chapters, the first chapter will consist of a theoretical part, the second chapter of methodology and data sources, the third chapter will consist of an empirical part and the last will contain a final evaluation. In the theoretical part I will deal with creative industries with emphasis on more difficult definition and localization at the intra-urban and inter-urban level. Agglomeration benefits affecting localization will also be discussed in more detail here. Another topic will be the printing, in which I will focus on deployment at the intra-urban level. In the empirical part I will deal with changes in the location of printers operating in Ostrava between 1873 and 1945 and current printers. I will get the addresses of the former printers from the archives in the Archive of the City of Ostrava and the addresses of the current printers from the register of economic entities. For former printers, I will focus on the physical condition and type of building, the nature of the surroundings, as well as the current function. For current printers, I will deal, similarly to former printers, with the physical condition, type of building and the nature of the surroundings. Subsequently, I will evaluate the information obtained.
