Company cooperation with suppliers in supply chain management and possibilities of its development

Abstract:

Práce je věnována spolupráci podniku s jeho dodavateli. V teoretické části se zaobírá základními pojmy jako dodavatelský řetězec, dodavatelský systém, dodavatelská síť a distribuční síť. Dále je definována spolupráce v dodavatelském systému a její význam, identifikovány doporučené oblasti spolupráce a jednotlivé nástroje, pomocí kterých lze spolupráci prohlubovat. Je vymezena komunikace s dodavateli, která je brána jako základní předpoklad úspěšné spolupráce. Následně se práce zabývá aplikací modelu CPFR v oblasti nákupu pro usnadnění spolupráce v této oblasti, a to včetně výběru dodavatelů a důvody proč je tato problematika důležitá pro rozvoj vzájemných vztahů. Poté se zabývá oblastí marketingu, managementu kvality, environmentu a bezpečnosti. Nakonec se věnuje řízení vztahů s dodavateli ve strategické rovině a v rovině takticko-operativní. Na teoretickou část navazuje praktická část, která byla rozdělena na dvě části. Byl proveden kvalitativní výzkum u výrobce chemických produktů a kvantitativní výzkum u jeho dodavatelů. V kvalitativním výzkumu se zkoumaly oblasti spolupráce a nástroje v jednotlivých oblastech z pohledu výrobce a jeho záměry z hlediska budoucí spolupráce s dodavateli. V kvantitativním výzkumu se zkoumala důležitost společných aktivit dodavatele a odběratele při rozvoji vzájemného vztahu a záměry dodavatelů z hlediska budoucí spolupráce. Výsledky obou výzkumů byly následně porovnány, vyhodnoceny a byly vytvořeny návrhy na zlepšení vztahů s dodavateli daného podniku.

Abstract:

The thesis is devoted to collaboration with the company's suppliers. There are defined terms supply chain and supply chain network. Afterwards the collaboration and its importance is defined in the supply chain. There is mentioned communication with suppliers, which is taken as primary assumption of successfully collaboration. There is also mentioned collaboration in a purchasing area and application of the model CPFR to facilitation collaboration in this area. Afterwards the thesis deals with the selection of suppliers and reasons why this issue is important for the supplier relationship management. In the end of theoretical part, the thesis covers supplier relationship management as strategic and tactical-operational process. The theoretical part is followed by a practical part, which had two parts. The qualitative research was performed by the manufacturer of chemicals products and the quantitative research was performed at its suppliers. In the qualitative research are explored areas of collaboration and tools for the development of future relationship from the perspective of the manufacturer. There are also mentioned intentions of manufacturer to improving collaboration with its suppliers into the future. There is examined which tools manufacturer considers to be important. In the quantitative research was examined the importance of joint activities of suppliers and customers in the development of their relationship. There were made results of both surveys were compared and evaluated. There were made suggestions for the improvement of relationships with the suppliers of the manufacter.
