Abstract:

Diplomová práce je kulturní analýzou fenoménu emo ? subkultury současné mládeţe, a také romantismu z hlediska ţivotního stylu a smýšlení o světě mládeţe 19. století. V práci je vymezen fenomén emo jako subkultura mládeţe a jako prostředek k nalezení vlastní identity. Toto je porovnáno s dandysmem jako subkulturou a prostředkem k nalezení identity mládeţe 19. století v období romantismu. V práci je dále věnována pozornost projevování emocí v umění a ve vlastním vzhledu přívrţenců obou daných subkultur.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is a cultural analysis of the emo phenomenon ? the subculture of nowadays young people, and of the romanticism as a lifestyle and the the philosophy of life of the 19th century youngsters. The emo phenomenon is specified as a youth subculture and as a means of finding its own identity. This is compared to the dandyism as a youth subculture and a means of finding the identity of 19th century youngsters in the era of romanticism. The attention is given to the representation of emotions in arts and in the appearance of supporters of both subcultures as well.
