Alternatives of financial security for old age

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je zmapovat aktuální nastavení důchodového systému v České republice a zároveň jej komparovat s důchodovými systémy v některých dalších rozvinutých ekonomikách v Evropě, ale i ve světě. Dále pak prozkoumat problematiku finanční gramotnosti u různých skupin obyvatel a reflektovat její dopady do přístupu k zajištění na stáří. Na základě provedených zjištění a dostupných informací navrhnout a sestavit možné alternativy a doporučení k zajištění na stáří s ohledem na novodobé trendy a výzkumy pro vybrané zájmové skupiny.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is to map the current setting of the pension system in the Czech Republic and at the same time to compare it with the pension systems in some other developed economies in Europe but also in the world. Furthermore, to examine the issue of financial literacy among different groups of the population and to reflect its effects on the approach to old-age insurance. Based on the findings and available information, design and compile possible alternatives and recommendations for old-age insurance with regard to modern trends and research for selected interest groups.
