Managerial competencies as basic prerequisites for the performance of a manager function

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou kompetencí manažera. Zaměřuje se na osobnost manažera, jeho funkce a role v podniku či předpoklady pro jeho práci. S tím úzce souvisí jeho kompetence v organizaci, komunikace s podřízenými a vznikající možné konflikty či problémy samotného manažera. Druhá část práce je věnována dotazníkovému šetření, jehož cílem bylo zjistit, jaké kompetence jsou pro manažery nejdůležitější a co považují za základ úspěchu své práce.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the competence of the manager. It focuses on the personality of the manager, his / her role and role in the enterprise, or the prerequisites for his / her work. This is closely related to his competence in organizing, communicating with subordinates and emerging possible conflicts or problems of the manager himself. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the questionnaire survey, whose aim was to find out what competencies are the most important for the managers and what they consider to be the basis of the success of their work.
