Using Authentic Materials to Foster Learner Autonomy of Adult and Young Adult Learners of English
Abstract:
Tato práce se zaměřuje na výukový potenciál autentických materiálů pro dospělé a adolescentní pokročilé studenty anglického jazyka jako nedocenitelný zdroj skutečného a současného zdroje jazyka. Cílem výzkumu je představit výhody autonomního přístupu s využitím autentických materiálů této skupině studentů na jazykové škole a vést je na cestě k nezávislému studiu jazyka.
Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the educational potential of authentic materials for adult and young-adult intermediate learners of English as an invaluable source of real and up-to-date language input. The aim of the study is to introduce the benefits of autonomous learning using authentic materials to this group of students at a language school, and guide them on their way to become independent learners.
