Consumer protection in the consumer credit

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce je problematika ochrany spotřebitele v rámci spotřebitelského úvěru. Úvodní část řeší obecnou problematiku spotřebitelských úvěrů, podmínkám poskytnutí a právní úpravou v ČR. V analytické části je detailní náhled na jednotlivé bankovní a nebankovní instituce s modelovými příklady jejich produktů a jejich podmínkami pro konečného spotřebitele.Návrhová část nabízí možná opatření pro regulaci nebankovního trhu, který je jako velice rizikový oproti tomu bankovnímu. Mezi návrhy patří i edukace obyvatelstva v oblasti finanční gramotnosti. Tyto návrhy jsou další kroky k efektivnější ochraně spotřebitele před nekalými praktikami subjektů poskytující úvěr.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis is the issue of consumer protection in the context of consumer credit. Introductory part addresses the general issue of consumer credit conditions and the provision of law in the country. The analytical part is a detailed view of individual banking and non-banking institutions with model examples of their products and their conditions for the end consumer. The proposal section offers possible measures to regulate the non-bank market, which is very risky as compared to the bank. Among the proposals include the education of the population in the area of financial literacy. These proposals are the next steps for the effective protection of consumers from unfair lending entities.
