Sortiment suggestion of fruit utility subtropical plants for cold interiors, winter gardens and orangery

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice pěstování užitkových, zejména subtropických rostlin, vhodných pro pěstování v zimních zahradách, chladných sklenících a oranžeriích. Práce uvádí druhy často pěstované i méně známé, až netradiční, se kterými se během zahradnické praxe lze setkat velmi zřídka. V úvodní části uvádí charakteristiku všech zmíněných budov, které slouží pro pěstování a zazimovávání rostlin s konkrétními příklady budov nacházejících se v České republice i mimo ni. Práce se dále zaměřuje na specifika tohoto vybraného rostlinného sortimentu, popisuje jeho původ, botanické zařazení a specifické požadavky pro úspěšné pěstování. Zmiňuje vhodné, osvědčené kultivary a popisuje význam a využití plodů pro společnost. V závěru práce je uveden vlastní komentář a zkušenosti vázané k dané problematice pěstování ovocných subtropických rostlin ve sklenících a oranžériích.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of cultivation of subtropical utility plants suitable for interior cultivation mainly in winter gardens, cold green houses and orangery. It informs the reader about commonly planted species but also it gives the information about those unconventionally cultivated ones which we can hardly ever meet in the local horticultural area. The author mentions particular examples of buildings to storage those plants with their common characteristic traits. In the opening part the work focuses on particular specifics of chosen plant range, it describes the botanical classification and cultivation requirements including temperature, rainfall, humidity, and soil type. It also suggests the suitable cultivars and describes the importance and usage of fruits for society. The work is being closed with personal point of view including own experience of growing the subtropical fruit plants in green houses and orangery.
