Business Intelligence solution for Lindab

Abstract:

Problematika Business Intelligence je jedním ze současných trendů informačních technologií v podnikovém prostředí. Diplomová práce se zabývá implementací řešení Business Intelligence pro finanční divizi velké společnosti, a to konkrétně implementací výkazu zisku a ztráty. V první části práce je představen teoretický základ Business Intelligence, který umožňuje čtenářům této práce pochopit principy řešení. Ve druhé části práce je představena společnost a její současné problémy se zpracováním výkazu zisku a ztráty. Ve třetí části práce je navržen datový model, procesy datové pumpy a tvorba OLAP kostek. Závěrečná část práce se věnuje reportingu řešení, datové kvalitě, validaci a zhodnocení celého řešení.

Abstract:

The issue of Business Intelligence is one of the current trends in information technology in the corporate environment. This diploma thesis deals with the implementation of Business Intelligence solutions for the financial division of a large company, namely by implementing the profit and loss statement. The first part of the thesis presents the theoretical basis of Business Intelligence, which allows the readers of this work to understand the principles of the solution. The second part of the thesis presents the company and its current problems with the preparation of the profit and loss statement. In the third part of the thesis is proposed a data model, data pump processes and creation of OLAP cubes. The final part of the thesis deals with the reporting of solutions, data quality, validation and evaluation of the whole solution.
