PHASE CHANGE MATERIALS (PCMs)
Abstract:
Materiály s fázovým přechodem bývají označované jako PCM (Phase Change Materials). Jedná se o látky schopné skladovat a uvolňovat velké množství energie. Tyto materiály nachází uplatnění v textilních materiálech určených pro lékařské aplikace (studené a teplé terapie), sportovní oděvy pro extrémní povětrnostní podmínky a také v oblasti skladování energie. Abstract:
Materials with Phase Change are often called PCM. These substances are able to store and release large sums of energy. They can be used in textile applications for medical uses (cold and warm therapies), for sport clothing resisting extreme wind conditions and for storing energy. The goal of this thesis is to list materials suitable for PCM uses and the means of their processing and utilization.
