Streamlining the supply logistics processes in a selected enterprise

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce je racionalizace procesů zásobovací logistiky ve společnosti FERRUM, s.r.o. Cílem práce je analyzovat současný stav v oblasti zásobovací logistiky ve vybraném podniku. Aplikací specifických metod zkoumání navrhnout vhodná opatření pro zefektivnění řízení zásob, potažmo zásobování podniku jako takové. Část teoreticko-metodologická je zaměřena na charakteristiku základních pojmů týkajících se zásobovací logistiky, řízení zásob, skladování a metod zkoumání, které jsou využity v aplikační části diplomové práce. V závěru teoreticko-metodické části práce je zpracována metodika práce, která obsahuje rovněž postupy aplikace zvolených metod operačního výzkumu. V aplikační části diplomové práce je charakterizována vybraná strojírenská společnost. V rámci aplikační části diplomové práce jsou vytvořeny dva grafické modely popisující logistický a zásobovací systém společnosti. Dále je provedena analýza současného stavu zásobovacího systému zvolené společnosti. V rámci této kapitoly je vypracována SWOT analýza zásobování zvolené společnosti. Následně je provedena ABC analýza, XYZ analýza a vypracována Kraljicova matice pro vybraný segment produktů společnosti. Aplikační část obsahuje výpočet optimálního objednacího množství a stanovení výše optimální pojistné zásoby pro šest komponent ze zkoumaného segmentu produktů vybrané společnosti. V rámci aplikační části práce je vypracován strom současné reality procesu zásobování a strom současné reality procesu skladování. Závěrečná část aplikační části se věnuje vytvoření návrhů racionalizace zásobovacího procesu společnosti a jejich technicko-ekonomickému zhodnocení.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis is to streamline the supply logistics processes in the company FERRUM, s.r.o. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the current state of supply logistics of the selected entity and use Operations Research methods to propose appropriate measures that will contribute to streamline the supply process of the company. The theoretical and methodological part is focused on the characteristics of the basic concepts related to supply logistics, inventory management, storage, Research methods that will be used in the application part of the thesis. At the end of the theoretical and methodological part of the thesis, the very methodology is elaborated, which also contains the procedures of application of the selected methods of Research. In the application part of the thesis, the chosen company dealing with engineering will be characterized. In this section, two graphical models describing the logistics system of the company will be created as well. Furthermore, the current state of the supply system of the selected company will be analysed. Within this chapter, a SWOT analysis of the supply of the chosen company will be developed. Subsequently, ABC analysis, XYZ analysis will be carried out and Kraljic matrix for key stocks of the company will be compiled developed. The application part will include the calculation of the optimal order quantity as well as, determination of the optimal safety insurance stock for six selected components. Within the application part of the thesis, current reality tree related to supply process and process of warehousing is constructed. The final part of the thesis, application part will be devoted to design proposals for the streamlining the company's supply process and their technical and economic evaluation.
