Employment of Persons with Cerebral Palsy in the Liberec Region

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje pracovnímu uplatnění osob s DMO v Liberci a okolí. Cílem bakalářské práce bylo analyzovat současné možnosti pracovního uplatnění osob s DMO v Liberci a okolí a zjistit, jestli pro osoby zdravotně postižené existuje fungující podpora ve smyslu pracovního zařazení. V úvodní kapitole popisujeme teoretická východiska. Nejdříve se zaměřujeme na diagnózu DMO. Poukazujeme na historické kontexty nemoci, rozebíráme příčiny vzniku, formy a jmenujeme přidružená onemocnění. Zmiňujeme zde také sociální dopad na osoby, které touto nemocí trpí. Ve druhé kapitole se věnujeme pracovní rehabilitaci. Zabýváme se významem pracovní rehabilitace, historií zaměstnávání osob s hendikepem, právními podklady a možnostmi zvýhodněného zaměstnávání osob se zdravotním postižením. Dále se zde věnujeme instituci Úřadu práce České republiky. Popisujeme činnost Úřadu práce v Liberci a ve vybraných okolních městech a funkci agentury pro podporované zaměstnávání. V empirické části bakalářské práce popisujeme použité metody, zkoumaný vzorek společnosti, přibližujeme průběh výzkumu za využití dotazníkového šetření při kvantitativním výzkumném postupu. V závěru se zaměřujeme na vyhodnocení dat a shrnutí výsledků průzkumu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on employment of persons with cerebral palsy in the Liberec region. Its aim was to analyze employment of persons with cerebral palsy, inspect which are the possibilities and to ascertain, if there is any support for these people. In the opening chapter we describe our theoretical bases. First of all, we concentrate on the diagnosis of cerebral palsy. We describe historical contexts, etiology, current incidence, causes of origin. We also mention social impact on persons with this illness. In the next chapter we focus our attention work rehabilitation. We describe the importance of being employed, the history of employing people with handicap, legal bases for their employment and opportunities of employment for people with cerebral palsy. Next we pay attention to the Labor Office institutions in the Czech Republic. We describe their agenda in Liberec and in some other towns in the surrounding area and the workings of agency for assisted employment. In the empiric part of the bachelor work we describe applied methods, sample of population habits, paying special attention to the use of a questionnaire in quantitative research process. Finally, we evaluate collected data and summarize the results of our survey.
