Nursing care for a woman with cervical cancer

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce mapuje ošetřovatelskou péči o ženu s karcinomem děložního hrdla. Věnuje se zejména psychické stránce žen, které postihla rakovina. Je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část je zaměřena na incidenci a mortalitu nemoci v České republice a ve světě, Prekancerózy, histopatologickou klasifikaci karcinomů, rizikové a protektivní faktory, klinický obraz a diagnostiku rakoviny děložního hrdla. Dále je zaměřena na léčbu a péči o ženu před a po chirurgickém výkonu, na prevenci a psychologickou péči o onkologické pacienty. Tato část je vypracována na základě poznatků odborné literatury, od-borných článků a internetových zdrojů. Praktická část analyzuje prožívání nemoci u žen v různém věku a v různých životních situacích, prožívání nemoci z pohledu sestry a obsahuje vyhodnocení výzkumného šetření. Výsledky byly získávány formou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru se třemi ženami s rakovinou děložního hrdla a se sestrou, která o ženy pečuje. Výsledkem práce je zmapování prožívání nemoci z pohledu ženy postihnuté rakovinou a z pohledu sestry pečující o ženy. Na základě výsledků výzkumného šetření bylo zpracováno několik doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis maps the nursing care of a woman with cervical cancer. He fo-cuses on the psychological side of women affected by cancer. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the incidence and mortality of the disease in the Czech Republic and in the world, precancerous lesions, histopathological classifica-tion of cancers, risk and protective factors, clinical picture and diagnosis of cervical cancer. It also focuses on the treatment and care of women before and after surgery, prevention and psychological care of cancer patients. This part is based on the knowledge of professional literature, professional articles and Internet resources. The practical part analyzes the expe-rience of the disease in women at different ages and in different life situations, the experience of the disease from the point of view of the nurse and contains the evaluation of the research survey. The results were obtained in a semi-structured interview with three women with cervical cancer and a nurse who cares for women. The result of the work is a mapping of the experience of the disease from the perspective of a woman with cancer and from the per-spective of a nurse caring for women. Based on the results of the research survey, several recommendations for practice were developed.
