The balancing of family and personal life with work life of civil employees working for the Hygienic Station of the Capital City of Prague.

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je zkoumání slaďování rodinného a osobního života zaměstnanců Hygienické stanice hlavního města Prahy s výkonem státní služby. Teoretická část práce vychází z prostudované odborné literatury v oblasti slaďování osobního a profesního života zaměstnanců, rovnosti a diskriminace zaměstnanců, flexibilních forem práce a v neposlední řadě v oblasti mateřské a rodičovské dovolené. Praktickou část práce tvoří tři části. První část popisuje služební úřad HSHMP, druhá část obsahuje zpracování dotazníkového šetření zaměstnanců na HSHMP a poslední část zhodnocuje stanovené hypotézy diplomové práce. Praktickou část práce dále doplňuje diskuze, ve které je porovnán výzkum zaměstnanců HSHMP a výzkum zaměstnanců na ministerstvech ČR. Celý výzkum a doporučení jsou zhodnoceny v závěru diplomové práce.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to investigate the balance of family and personal life of employees of the Hygienic Station of the Capital City of Prague (HSCCP) with the performance of civil service. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on the studied literature in the field of reconciliation of personal and professional life of employees, equality and discrimination of employees, flexible forms of work and last but not least in the field of maternity and parental leave. The practical part of the thesis consists of three parts. The first part describes the HSCCP office, the second part contains the elaboration of a questionnaire survey of employees at the HSCCP and the last part evaluates the stated hypotheses of the thesis. The practical part of the thesis is further enhanced by a discussion comparing the research on employees at HSCCP and the research on employees in the ministries of the country. The whole research and recommendations are evaluated in the conclusion of the thesis.
