Quality of accounting information when reporting other prior period retained earnings

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se v první části zaměřuje na vysvětlení, proč jsou účetní informace tak významné a co je dělá kvalitní. Vedle toho zkoumá jiný výsledek hospodaření minulých let ze všech úhlů pohledu a rozebírá, jaký dopad má jeho vykázání na onu posuzovanou kvalitu. V praktické části analyzuje vykázání jiného výsledku za období 2018 až 2021 a porovnává ho s obdobím 2013 až 2017, které jsou rozebrány čtyřmi dalšími kvalifikačními pracemi. Výsledkem je zhodnocení vývoje četnosti vykázání jiného výsledku a jeho náležité okomentování za období 2013 až 2021.

Abstract:

The first part of the diploma thesis focuses on explaining why accounting information is so important and what makes it of such high quality. In parallel, it examines the other prior period retained earnings from all perspectives and discusses what impact its reporting has on the postjudgment quality. In the practical part, it analyses the recognition of the other prior period retained earnings for the period 2018 to 2021 and com-pares it with the period 2013 to 2017, which are analyzed by four other qualifying the-ses. As a result, it assesses the evolution of the frequency of the recognition of the other prior period retained earnings and comments on it appropriately for the period 2013 to 2021.
