Auxiliary Verbs in Spanish

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis was to analyze auxiliary verbs in Spanish language, their forms, as they occur in clauses, where they form a part of creating complex tenses or passive voice. In a different form they are shown in verbal periphrases where they are divided according to individual viewpoints. The work is divided into two parts: theoretical as well as practical. In the theoretical part we concentrated on terminology, presented in various linguistic works and auxiliary verbs which are most frequently used. In the practical part we firstly analyzed using the auxiliary verbs in literary and publicistic texts. As examples of literary works we chose Spanish and Latin-American novellas and some of the diaries from Spain and Latin America. For the analysis we used classification by Leonardo Gómez Torrego and Jiří Černý. The main aim was to find out the usage of the auxiliary verbs and their form in which they further occurred in Spanish texts and to provide examples from the given works. In conclusion of this work, we provided the statistics where the frequency and forms of occurrence of auxiliary verbs in artistic as well as publicistic texts are presented.

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce bylo provést analýzu pomocných sloves ve španělštině a jejich forem, tak jak se objevují ve větných výpovědích, kde jsou součástí složených časů a nebo trpného rodu. V jiné formě se objevují ve slovesných perifrázích, kde se rozdělují dle různých hledisek. Práce je rozdělená na dvě části ? část teoretickou a část praktickou. V teoretické části jsme se zabývali terminologií, kterou uvádí různá lingvistická díla a pomocnými slovesy, která se nejčastěji používají. V praktické části jsme nejprve provedli analýzu používání pomocných sloves v literárních a publicistických textech. Jako literární díla jsme vybrali španělské a latinskoamerické romány a některé deníky vycházející ve Španělsku a Latinské Americe. K analýze jsme použili klasifikaci od Leonarda Gómeze Torrega a Jiřího Černého. Hlavním cílem bylo zjistit používání pomocných sloves v současném španělském jazyce a doložit to konkrétními příklady. Na závěr práce jsme předložili statistiku, která znázorňuje, jak často a v jakých formách se pomocná slovesa vyskytovala v uměleckém a publicistickém textu.
