Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na existenci učících se regionů v evropské dimenzi. Teoretická část zahrnuje charakteristiku regionálního a ekonomického rozvoje, regionální politiky a teorie učících se regionů, dále pak definice, příčiny vzniku a základní fundamenty učících se regionů. This diploma thesis concentrates on the existence of learning regions in the dimension of the Europe. Theoretical part includes the characteristic of regional and economical development, regional policy and the learning regions theory, then definitions, causes of origin and basic fundaments of learning regions.
