The care of pupils with special educational needs in the primary school Oslavany

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami na ZŠ Oslavany. Výzkumné šetření poukazuje tedy na míru informovanosti jak samotných učitelů základní školy, tak i rodičů žáků o problematice žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami. Ze strany učitelů máme možnost zjistit, jaký pohled na oblast vzdělávání žáků se SVP mají, zda se orientují jak ve všeobecných záležitostech týkajících se žáků se SVP, tak i v konkrétních informacích vážících se přímo k dané základní škole a žákům se SVP, apod. Z poznatků získaných od rodičů žáků se stejně, jako u učitelů, dozvíme, zda mají alespoň částečnou představu o tom, kdo je žák se SVP. Jestli vědí, že se tito žáci vzdělávají i na ZŠ Oslavany, např. že jsou přímo spolužáky jejich dítěte, apod. Když jde přímo o rodiče žáků se SVP, tak se můžeme dozvědět i více informací vážících se k vývoji jejich dítěte, … Tento výzkum nám dává obraz toho, jak se konkrétní základní škola, ZŠ Oslavany, vypořádává se vzděláváním žáků se SVP. Teoretická část se dělí do tří kapitol. První kapitola se zaměřuje na oblast vzdělávání žáků se SVP. Druhá kapitola v sobě zahrnuje problematiku kurikula a legislativního rámce směřujícího opět k žákům se SVP. Třetí kapitola se pak zabývá již přímo vzděláváním žáků se SVP na ZŠ Oslavany. Kapitola čtvrtá, poslední, je empirickou částí. Vznikla na základě výzkumného šetření, které probíhalo právě na ZŠ Oslavany. Celý výzkum je pojat „v duchu“ kvantitativně-kvalitativního šetření.

Abstract:

This final thesis is focused on pupils with special educational needs at the elementary school in Oslavany. The survey points out on the level of knowledge of both elementary teachers themselves and students’ parents about problems of children who have the special educational needs. We have an opportunity to find out teachers’ approaches to an education of the children with the special educational needs and if they are knowledgeable in matters relating to the pupils with the special educational needs. Moreover, if they are knowledgeable in hard facts, relating to a particular school. According to findings we gained from the parents and teachers we are going to find out if they have an idea about pupils with the special educational needs. We are going to find out if the parents know that these children are educated in Oslavany and they are their children’s classmates. It is possible to get more information from the parents who have the children with the special educational needs. This research shows us how a particular school in Oslavany deals with an education of these children. Theoretical part of this thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is focused on the education of pupils with the special educational needs. The second chapter includes issues of curriculum and a legislative framework which is again aimed to pupils with SEN. The third chapter deals directly with SEN pupils’ education at the elementary school in Oslavany. The fourth chapter is an empirical part of this thesis. It is based on a research which took place just at the elementary school in Oslavany. The whole research is conceived “in the spirit of“quantitative-qualitative survey.
