This master thesis deals with the three recurring themes of lawyers, guns and money in the Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas book by Hunter S. Thompson. The terms need to be taken from the general perspective where lawyers stand for the whole system of law; guns represent violence in general; and money the overall mentality connected with it. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá románem Strach a hnus v Las Vegas od amerického spisovatele Huntera S. Thompsona. Konkrétně se jedná o tři opakující se stěžejní témata: právníky, zbraně a peníze. Tyto konkrétní termíny však pouze zastřešují širší koncepty, kde právníci zastupují právo jako takové, zbraně symbolizují násilí ve všech podobách a peníze ukazují celkovou mentalitu společnosti ve spojení …more
