The perception of and coping with the burdens of pupils (students) in the school environment.

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá tématem vnímání zátěže žáků ve středoškolském prostředí. Teoretická část obsahuje definice klíčových pojmů a vysvětlení vztahů mezi pojmy příbuznými. Dále jsou zde popsány ústřední strategie zvládání stresových situací. Výzkumným cílem této práce bylo zjistit, zda u předem definovaných stresových situací existuje statisticky signifikantní rozdíl v hodnotách dosažených u gymnaziálních žáků a žákyň. Tento cíl byl realizován na výzkumném souboru 100 žáků gymnázia, za pomoci dotazníku stresových situací DDS. Výsledky výzkumu prokázaly hypotézu o vyšší senzitivitě vnímání stresu u zkoumaného vzorku gymnaziálních žákyň.

Abstract:

This thesis is dedicated to the perception of students' stress during secondary education. The theoretical part consists of definitions of key terms and of explanations of relationships between related terms. Next, fundamental strategies of handling the stress situations are described there as well. The research goal of my thesis was to find out if there are some significant differences in results between male and female secondary school students in some specific beforehand defined stress situations. This goal was realized in one specific secondary school, between 100 students with the help of DDS stress situations questionnaire. The result of this form shows that there is a higher perception of stress between examined female secondary school students.
