Abstract:

Většina lidí si pod názvem Location based service nedokáže vůbec nic představit. Proto vznikla tato práce, která si dala za úkol trochu tyto služby představit. Na úvod práce představuje, přibližně jaké služby se za tímto názvem skrývají, jaké jsou její nejdůležitější komponenty, kterými jsou navigace, internet a geoprostorový web. Navigací je více druhů, proto práce představuje nejen GPS, která každého napadne jako první, ale i jejího evropského kolegu Galilea a také další možnosti zjišťování polohy pomocí triangulace sítí a pomocí wi-fi sítí. Následuje dlouhá kapitola o geoprostorovém webu, co to je a představení jeho jednotlivých komponent, standardu GML, obrázkového formátu JPEG 2000, prostorových dat a nakonec Hermes, systém na správu prostorových dat. Poté práce přejde na praktičtější část, představí konkrétní služby. Začne u mobilních sociálních sítí, jimiž jsou Foursquare, Gowalla a Facebook places. Popíše jak fungují a jaké jsou mezi nimi rozdíly. Další popisované služby jsou online flirtovací služba LikeYou, aplikace na kontrolu vyzvánění v telefonu LBS, služby rozšířené reality Wikitude web browser a Layar reality browser a poslední záznamník tras My tracks. Ke konci už zbývá jen zmínit výhody i hrozby LBS a zamyslet se nad budoucností těchto služeb.

Abstract:

The most of people can not imagine anything under the name of Location based service. Therefore was created this thesis, which has set itself the task of little introduce these services. At the beginning thesis represents some sevices hiding behind this name, what are it's main components, which are the navigation, internet and geospatial web. It exists a lot of navigations so thesis introduce not only a GPS that everybody obvious things first, also her European colleague Galileo and other possibilities of positioning by triangulation networks and via wi-fi networks. Following a long chapter about geospatial web what it is and showing its individual components, standard GML, image format JPEG 2000, spatial data and finally Hermes, a systém for managing spatial data. After this is chapter, which is more practical, it presents a particular service. Begins at mobile social networks what are Foursquare, Gowalla and Facebook places. It describes how they work and what are the differences between them. Other described services are online dating LikeYou, applications to control the ring tones on the phone LBS and augmented reality Wikitude web browser and Layar reality browser and the last tracks recorder My tracks. In the end is left only mention the advantages and threats of LBS and reflect on the future of these services.
