Andalusian Spanish with a Special Attention to Agricultural Vocabulary

Abstract:

This bachelor diploma thesis deals with the Andalusian dialect which is a distinctive dialect of Spanish. It concentrates on differences between Andalusian Spanish and Standard Spanish in respect of phonetic, morphological, syntactic and, especially, lexical features where we get acquainted with typical expressions used in Andalusia in the field of agriculture. The purpose of the thesis is to discover if the Andalusians use Andalusian or Standard Spanish agricultural vocabulary. This discovery is carried out with a questionnaire which was commissioned to the Andalusians of different age brackets. The goal of the questionnaire is to discover differences in using of the Andalusian vocabulary among these age brackets.

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá andaluštinou, výrazným dialektem španělštiny. Zaměřuje se na rozdíly mezi andaluštinou a standardní španělštinou po stránce fonetické, morfologické, syntaktické a především lexikální, kde se seznamujeme s typickými výrazy používanými v Andalusii, tzv. andalusismy, v oboru zemědělství. Cílem práce je zjistit, jestli Andalusané používají běžnou španělskou slovní zásobu z oblasti zemědělství nebo upřednostňují andalusismy. Toto zjištění je provedeno pomocí dotazníku, který byl zadán Andalusanům různých věkových kategorií, jehož cílem je zjistit rozdíly v používání andalusismů mezi těmito skupinami.
