Dyslexia And Dyscalculia As Developmental Learning Disorders And Their Perception from the Perspective of Selected Respondents

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou dyslexie a dyskalkulie jako specifických poruch učení (SPU) a jejich vnímáním vybranými respondenty. Cílem práce je problematiku teoreticky popsat a poté pomocí 5 rozhovorů zdokumentovat osobní zkušenosti jedinců se SPU a zjistit dopad na jejich vzdělávací proces a každodenní život a porovnat jejich subjektivní vnímání s teoretickými poznatky. Výsledky poukazují na obtíže, kterým tito jedinci čelí, i na strategie, které si k jejich překonávání osvojili. Práce také reflektuje míru povědomí veřejnosti o těchto poruchách.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of dyslexia and dyscalculia as Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) and their perception by selected respondents. It aims to describe the issue theoretically and then, using 5 interviews, to document the personal experience of individuals with SLD and to determine their impact on the educational process and everyday life and to compare their subjective perception with theoretical knowledge. The results point to the difficulties that these individuals face and the strategies they have adopted to overcome them. The thesis also reflects the level of public awareness of these disorders.
