Modern Internet Banking

Abstract:

Elektronické bankovnictví za poslední desetiletí zaznamenalo velmi dynamický vzestup a dá se očekávat, že se bude dále rozvíjet nejen kvůli komfortu zákazníků a konkurenci, ale i kvůli neustálým kyberútokům zvenčí. Pečlivou analýzou všech dostupných informačních zdrojů byl v této práci vytvořen model integrovaných prostředků autentizace do moderního internetového bankovnictví u vybraných bank. Velkou hrozbou jsou phishingové útoky, které jsou stále více sofistikované a je třeba tyto přístupy více zabezpečit. Proto byl vytvořen stručný výčet několika perspektivních biometrických metod použitelných pro budoucí autentizaci do moderního e-bankingu. Nespornou výhodou biometrie je její jedinečné uchovávání specifických charakteristik. Cílem práce bylo také navrhnout moderní model internetového bankovnictví s vysoce bezpečnou a přitom společensky přijatelnou metodu možného vývoje a užití.

Abstract:

Over the past decade, e-banking has experienced a very dynamic rise and it is expected that it will continue to develop not only because of the convenience of the customers and competitors, but also due to constant cyber attacks. By careful analysis of all available information sources was created a model of integrated authentication means in the modern internet banking in selected banks. Lately, a big threat are phishing attacks, which are increasingly sophisticated and it is necessary to secure these approaches. There was created a list of several promising biometric methods applicable for future authentication to modern e-banking. The indisputable advantage of biometrics is its unique preservation of specific characteristics. The aim of this thesis was also to design a modern model of internet banking with a highly secure, yet socially acceptable method of possible development and usage.
