Monitoring and detection of pathogens in tree care systems

Abstract:

Tato práce volně navazuje a rozšiřuje předcházející bakalářskou práci. Literární část pojednává o stresových faktorech, které na dřevinu v městském prostředí působí a celkově přibližuje problematiku výskytu chorob a škůdců managementu zeleně. Práce vymezuje převážně houbové patogeny, které jsou podrobněji popisovány. Stěžejní část je část praktická, kdy byl pomocí vytvořené metodiky prováděn monitoring biotických agens v modelovém městě Česká Třebová v letech 2020 až 2022. Výstupem je fytopatologická mapa zpracována v softwaru QGIS, kde jsou zaznačeny jednotlivé dřeviny s nálezy. Mapa umožňuje práci s aktuálními daty, atributovými tabulkami a může být aktualizována a doplňována. Vizuálně hodnoceno bylo 2235 dřevin, z čehož bylo zapsáno 308 nálezů (choroba, škůdce, symptom napadení, zvýšená predispozice k napadení) včetně jejich závažnosti. Původce poškození bylo možné určit u 181 případů. Nejčastějšími nálezy byl hmyz poškozující listový aparát ale také plodnice nebezpečných dřevokazných hub.

Abstract:

This thesis is a loose continuation and extension of the previous bachelor thesis. The literary section discusses the stress factors that affect woody plants in the urban environment and generally introduces the issue of diseases and pests to greenery management. The thesis defines mainly fungal pathogens, which are described in detail. The most important part is the practical part, where the monitoring of biotic agents in the model city of Česká Třebová in the years 2020 to 2022 was carried out using a custom methodology. The output is a phytopathologic map processed in QGIS software, where individual woody plants with findings are marked. The map allows working with current data, attribute tables and can be updated and expanded. A total of 2235 tree species were visually assessed, of which 308 findings (disease, pest, symptom of infestation, increased predisposition to infestation) were recorded, including their severity. The causal agent of the damage could have been identified in 181 cases. The most frequent findings were insects damaging the leaf apparatus but also the fruiting bodies of dangerous wood-destroying fungi.
