Molecules - a growing kit for children

Abstract:

Základem tohoto projektu je vyrobit hračku. Molekuly – rostoucí stavebnice pro děti se zabývá komplexní prací na intuitivní stavebnici, která roste společně s dětmi ve třech fázích – batolecí, kojenecká a následně předškolní. Každý kus této stavebnice je vyroben z jiného materiálu. Použité materiály jsou dřevo, látka a 3D tisk. Hračka se zaměřuje na různé problémy v různých fázích vývoje. Nejprve to budou kousátka s kontrastními barvami, která pomohou stimulovat zrak kojenců, dále barevné hračky z různých materiálů, které jim pomohou rozpoznat a pojmenovat barvy a stimulovat jejich hmat a uchopení. Nakonec se všechny díly spojí pomocí spojů a vytvoří stavebnici, která pomůže rozvíjet jejich představivost. Na závěr se tato stavebnice snaží podporovat a pomáhat dětem s rozvojem v jejich nejdůležitějších fázích. Tato hračka také přináší možnost pro rodiče, kteří chtějí pro své děti minimalistické a udržitelné hračky.

Abstract:

The basis of this project is to make a toy. Molecules - kits for children from infants to preschoolers deal with complex work on an intuitive kit that grows together with children in three phases - toddler, infant, and then preschool. Each piece for this kit is made of a different material. Used materials are wood, silicone, fabric, and 3D print. Toy focuses on different problems within different stages of development. Firstly there will be teethers with contrasting colors to help stimulate infants‘ eyesight, then colorful toys from different materials to help them recognize and name colors and stimulate their feel and grasp. Lastly, all parts will be combined with joints and make a building kit that will help develop their imagination. In conclusion, this kit tries to support and help children with development in their most crucial phases. This toy also brings an option for parents, who want minimalistic and sustainable toys for their children.
