V současnosti se v České republice podle dostupných zdrojů informací rozvádí zhruba každé druhé manželství a z toho ve více jak polovině případů se v rozvádějícím manželství nachází alespoň jedno nezletilé dítě. Currently, according to available sources, roughly every second marriage in the Czech Republic is divorced, and in more than half of the cases, there is at least one minor child in the divorcing marriage.
