Abstract:

Diplomová práce Expresionismus v prózách Čestmíra Jeřábka, Lva Blatného a Bartoše Vlčka se v teoretické části zabývá charakteristikou expresionismu jako uměleckého směru. Popisuje jeho vznik, vývoj a vliv na výtvarné umění, hudbu a literaturu. Blíže se zabývá německým a českým expresionismem. Dále přibližuje vznik Literární skupiny a její revui Host, s níž jsou autoři zkoumaných děl spjati. Praktická část zahrnuje životopisy zmíněných autorů a dějové nástiny vybraných próz. Jádrem práce je analýza klíčových expresionistických motivů obsažených v těchto dílech a s nimi spojená reflexe soudobé společnosti. Diplomová práce může sloužit jako didaktický materiál pro žáky základních a středních škol: mohla by jim pomáhat při rozboru uměleckých děl.

Abstract:

The thesis Expressionism in prose of Čestmír Jeřábek, Lev Blatný and Bartoš Vlček deals with the characteristics of expressionism as a modernistic movement in the theoretical part. It describes its origin, development and influence on visual arts, music and literature. In more detail, it deals with German and Czech expressionism. It also describes the origin of the Literary Group and its revue Host of which the authors of the studied works are connected. The practical part includes biographies of the mentioned authors and plot outlines of selected prose. The core of the work is an analysis of the key expressionist motives contained in these works and the related reflection of contemporary society. The diploma thesis can serve as a didactic material for pupils and students of primary and secondary schools: it could help them to analyze literary works.
