Child with celiac disease

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zmapovat celkový život dítěte s celiakií. Teoretická část bakalářské práce je zaměřena na onemocnění celiakie – charakteristiku, příznaky, diagnostiku, bezlepkovou dietu (léčbu) a další aspekty týkající se tohoto onemocnění. Praktická část bakalářské práce analyzuje data kvalitativního šetření pomocí kazuistik, které byly získány rozhovorem s dětmi nebo rodiči. Výzkumným šetřením byl zmapován celkový život dítěte s celiakií, a to především první příznaky, jakým způsobem jim byla celiakie diagnostikována, jak moc tato diagnóza ovlivnila jejich život, zda dítě chápe celoživotní dodržování bezlepkové diety a v neposlední řadě kde načerpali nejspolehlivější informace.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to map the overall life of a child with celiac disease. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis is focused on the disease of celiac disease – characteristics, symptoms, diagnostics, gluten-free diet (treatment) and much more. The practical part of the bachelor thesis analyzes the data of the qualitative survey using case reports that were obtained by interviewing children or parents. The research survey mapped the overall life of a child with celiac disease, especially the first symptoms, how they were diagnosed with celiac disease, how much this diagnosis affected their lives, whether the child understands lifelong adherence to a gluten-free diet and, last but not least, where they got the most reliable information.
