Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o dokumentaci specifických kamenosochařských materiálů používaných v minulosti v oblasti Podkrkonoší. Jedná se o různé typy arkózových pískovců, které se od sebe odlišují svým složením, barvou, strukturou, ale také odolností vůči povětrnostním vlivům či různým degradačním procesům. Práce je zaměřena jednak na dokumentaci využití těchto materiálů v minulosti (což zahrnuje dokumentaci historických těžebních lokalit a dokumentaci samotných památkových objektů), ale také dokumentování degradačních procesů, které probíhají v arkózových pískovcích v podkrkonošských povětrnostních podmínkách.

Abstract:

This work concerns itself with the documentation of specific sculpture materials used in the past in the region of Giant mountain foothills. It deals with various types of arcose sandstone which differ from eachother due to their composition, colour and structure, but also thanks to their resistence to weather impacts and various degradation processes. This thesis documents not only their use in the past (including the documentation of historic quarries and historic monuments), but also covers the degradation processes that the arcose sandstones from Krkonoše foothils region are exposed to.
